Chain of Memories was touted as a bridge between the two PlayStation 2 games, introducing and previewing plot elements that would be explored in the next game. As of October 2021, the Kingdom Hearts series has shipped more than 35 million copies worldwide. Most of the games in the series have been positively received and commercially successful. The series consists of thirteen games available for multiple platforms and future games are planned. The primary plotline of the series sees the protagonists clash against the multiple incarnations of Xehanort, the primary antagonist. The series centers on the main character, Sora, and his journey and experiences with various Disney and Pixar characters, as well as some from Square Enix properties, such as Final Fantasy, The World Ends With You and Einhänder, in addition to original characters and locations created specifically for the series. Kingdom Hearts is a crossover of various Disney properties based in an original fictional universe. It is a collaboration between Square Enix and The Walt Disney Company and is under the leadership of Tetsuya Nomura, a longtime Square Enix employee. With the manga world, it's completely different.Kingdom Hearts is a series of action role-playing games developed and published by Square Enix (originally by Square). Plus, Disney doesn't like to leave loose ends, either. Thus, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep and Coded were born, and then after the remake of Coded, Dream Drop Distance came next, and then came 1.5 and 2.5, and now we're getting 2.8 BEFORE Kingdom Hearts 3, which I thought would've been the next title after it's ending.
The latter doing the final mix version and putting up that secret ending, which gave him the ideas of continuing the series, such as doing a prequel on why Xehanort did what he did and what he was before, and then the aftermath which connects to the prequel, and then there's how Roxas was in the Organization and how he and Axel(and Xion who was also introduced) became best friends. That's a bit true, but then again, in the game, the ending left many loopholes, like, "What did the letter say" and in my case and my sister's case when she finished it, "What happened to Maleficent?" since the last time we saw her was her and Pete going up against the heartless.īut then again, it's both Disney and Nomura.
